2008 Debutante Cotillion Program

The Ta Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is seeking high school aged young ladies (14 – 19 years old) to participate in our 2008 Debutante Cotillion program. These young ladies must demonstrate an active interest and involvement in public service and community related activities. For the Tau Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. a cotillion is embraced as an opportunity to mentor young females as they enhance their personal, educational, cultural, spiritual, and social lives as African American young ladies.

2008 Cotillion Program Goals & Objectives
- To develop a training and mentoring pipeline for high-school aged young women.
- To mentor young women through their formative high school years and as they transition to their life beyond high school.
- To cultivate lasting relationship amongst the participating young women.
- To encourage high scholastic, moral, and ethical standards.
